Through survivor stories, education, research, professional perspectives, and immersive media, we aim to make the effects of trauma easier to understand, harder to ignore, and less isolating for those who have lived through it.

Hi, I'm Don English.
As a Gay Hairstylist, a Child Abuse Survivor, and a Cinematic Writer, I created the $100,000 Road to Hope as my personal gift .
My mission is to use my cinematic memoir and my film art videos to show how mental health support is the key to break the silence of abuse. Together, we can bring awareness to help heal the over 1 billion children globally who have survived physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

For most of my life, I kept my childhood a secret. Like many survivors, I believed silence was safer than telling the truth. Eventually, I realized that sharing my story might help someone else feel less alone.
Enlightenment of Evil is more than my memoir. It's a story of surviving trauma, finding hope, and discovering that healing is possible.
When I recorded the audiobook, I knew it had to be in my own voice. Every chapter is narrated by the person who lived it, creating an experience that's honest, deeply personal, and cinematic.
